Elect Lady Dr. Rachelle Y. Benson
Dr. Rachelle Y. Benson is the First Lady of Total Deliverance Worship Center located in San Diego, CA. She is an Ordained National Evangelist within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Lady Benson is a caring woman of God who travels throughout the Nation speaking, teaching, and preaching the Gospel. She is also the founder of “Women of Valor”, a women’s ministry established in 2004 to support women through counseling, education, and empowerment. Dr. Benson is married to the love of her life; Diocesan over the Southern California District Council, Bishop William A. Benson. They are the parents of two beautiful girls and one handsome son.
Lady Rachelle Y. Benson is also the Executive Director of a non-profit organization called Stepping Higher, Inc. This organization was developed with the understanding that with the proper faith-based support and resources, an individuals’ life can change for the better. Stepping Higher, Inc. serves as a beacon within the community of San Diego, CA by offering a variety of services, such as: professional marriage and family counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, Supreme Court ordered classes, youth deferment program, prison re-entry program, Covid-19 testing, Faith-based and Behavioral Health Educational Academy, Community Education Presentations, nutritional education, and a food distribution program that feeds thousands of individuals each month.
Dr. Rachelle Benson is a dedicated professional with over 33 years of experience within the Human Services field. She is experienced in overseeing, directing, managing, and supervising diverse populations and economically challenged individuals. Dr. Benson holds a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling, a second Ph.D. in Theology, a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science. She is also the author of a book entitled “Spiritually Desperate Housewives”.
Dr. Benson sits as the Vice President/Provost of the American College & Theological Seminary International University (ACTS-IU). She also operates as the Dean of the Christian Counseling and Christian Psychology department.
Lady Rachelle Benson’s main goal in life is to please God and to inspire others to live for Christ. One of her favorite Scriptures: Psalms 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
